Driving Miss Daisy

I’m pleased to announce that the driving lessons are going well.
In fact somebody in the village complimented me only yesterday.
They left a note on the windscreen.
It said “Parking Fine”.

All young men are portrayed by the media in a bad light.
I was stood by the Hole-in-the-wall machine in town yesterday, totally flustered and bewildered with this technology phenomena.

Grandad put black shoe polish in his hair for ‘the Interview‘.
My white Egyptian cotton pillowcases and sheets are destroyed.
I’ve been down at the riverbank soaking and sloshing and banging them off the rocks. No go. Me poor arthritic hands are cold and sore.

Bloody meals

We enjoyed our little soiree in Thornton’s last night.
The fifteen course menu was a bit much for us. We had to take out our false teeth half way through.
