I wouldn't give up on the higher plan with VHI just yet - who knows what way things will go with Mary Harney's co-located hospitals. Grrr! I'm very against the 2-tier health system she insists on promoting but if she succeeds in getting her way, one thing's for certain - the public hospital system will be swamped with people who are unable to afford their usual health insurance. Health insurance rates will soar. I can't afford to 'give up' my health insurance at the moment. We are on the higher scheme too. There is so much profile about bugs it is bound to get sorted soon. It is not rocket science to solve. As you say the Nuns could solve it.
